Lanette is a dedicated and long-serving 4-H volunteer whose commitment and passion for the program shine through everything she does. She has supported countless 4-H events over the years, always willing to step in where help is needed and ensuring every detail is done with care.
Lanette plays an important role at Scott County Family Fun Night, assisting with the raffle and printing the thank-you cards that are sent to raffle donors. She also supports youth directly by helping line up participants during the fashion show at the Mississippi Valley Fair, making sure events run smoothly and confidently.
Her creativity and leadership have left a lasting mark at the Mississippi Valley Fair. Lanette designed the barn signs and was also instrumental in fair booth planning for over 10 years.
Lanette’s dedication to 4-H extends beyond events and deadlines. When she noticed the digital civic sign at the entrance of Walcott displaying logos of community organizations, she was determined that 4-H be represented as well. Through her coordination and follow-through, a 4-H logo was ordered and added. It now ensures the program stands proudly alongside other civic groups in the community.
Serving as Superintendent for Communications, Lanette continually uses her skills to promote, support, and advocate for 4-H. It is clear that 4-H holds a special place in her heart, and her years of service have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the youth, families, and volunteers she supports.
