Val Plagge has been an important part of Franklin County 4-H for many years. She is a dedicated 4-H leader of a large 4-H club, NW Franklin. Her club is very involved, completing multiple service projects every year and providing countless project opportunities for the youth in her club. Val consistently encourages youth to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and become active members of their communities. She is known for her willingness to mentor and support members of all ages, creating a welcoming and positive environment for everyone involved in 4-H.
In addition to her work as a club leader, Val is always willing to step in wherever help is needed, whether it is assisting at county events, supporting families, or encouraging youth to try new experiences. She understands the importance of creating opportunities for young people to grow through hands-on learning, leadership, and service. Her dedication has positively impacted many youth and families throughout Franklin County.
She is also the chair of our local Franklin County 4-H Foundation and is an integral part of supporting Franklin County 4-H through fundraising and financial support that helps provide meaningful opportunities for local youth. Her passion, leadership, and commitment continue to strengthen the Franklin County 4-H program and inspire those around her.
