Julie DeBower has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to 4-H, making it a true family tradition and a lasting contribution to the Floyd County community.  She first became involved in 4-H as a young girl, completing numerous projects and exhibiting her horses, experiences that helped shape her strong work ethic and passion for youth development.

As a parent, Julie instilled that same passion in her children by actively supporting their involvement in 4-H.  She devoted countless hours to guiding them through projects, attending meetings and events, assisting with record books, and ensuring they had the opportunity to see their accomplishments at the state fair. Her dedication created a meaningful and enriching experience for her children and reinforced the values of responsibility, leadership, and perseverance.

Julie's commitment to 4-H did not end when her children graduated.  She has continued to serve Floyd County 4-H with distinction, generously giving her time as a fair judge and serving for many years on the Floyd County 4-H Board.  In addition, she has shared her knowledge and skills by assisting with sewing and food classes through the Floyd County Extension, impacting countless youth in the program.

Julie DeBower's enduring dedication, leadership, and service exemplify the spirit of 4-H.
