2026 Calhoun County: Hillaree Meyer

Calhoun County is proud to recognize Hillaree Meyer, whose dedication, leadership, and passion has made a lasting impact. For the past twenty-eight years, Hillaree has been a vital part of the Calhoun County Fairboard, serving various roles and always bringing enthusiasm, vision, and heart to everything she does. Hillaree has a true passion for encouraging participation and helping the 4-H program and Exposition continue to grow. One of the many ways she has done this is through organizing the Open Class Show, creating opportunities for community involvement and showcasing talents of all ages. For the past five years, Hillaree has served on Calhoun County Extension Council, joining with the goal of ensuring quality programs and opportunities were available to 4-H members and their families. She has not only supported these programs as a council member, but also by attending and participating in many of them herself. Most recently, Hillaree stepped into the role of club leader for The Union 4-H Club, where she continues to encourage members to take part in all aspects of 4-H. Alongside her husband, Kelly, she has also supported her three sons through the 4-H program. Hillaree consistently looks at the big picture, remaining a strong advocate for all 4-H values and programming. Her leadership, support, and unwavering commitment have helped strengthen opportunities for youth. The Calhoun County 4-H program is truly fortunate to have her support, dedication, and vision.
