Ronnie Pitzen started his 4-H career as a member of the Stacyville Satellites in Mitchell County. Ronnie has continued to serve the Mitchell County 4-H program in a variety of ways over the years.

Ronnie was a dedicated 4-H leader for 25 years, volunteering for the Stacyville Satellites, now Stacyville Shooting Stars, and the Rough Riders. After retiring as a club leader, Ronnie has continued his dedication to the youth. He is a true ambassador of the Mitchell County Fair, serving as the emcee of the livestock shows for countless years. Ronnie’s dedication has made him the voice of our fair, bringing joy and laughter to all who attend.

Through his many years volunteering, Ronnie has enjoyed watching youth learn and be successful in their project areas. One of Ronnie’s fondest memories was watching his own children succeed in their 4-H projects. Ronnie stays busy in the summer as he never misses the opportunity to visit county fairs and the Iowa State Fair. 4-H and youth are an important part of his life.

Ronnie’s support has made an immense impact in Mitchell County, and they look forward to him continuing to be the voice of the Mitchell County Fair!
