Together, Jerry, Bart, and Julie Wilson exemplify leadership, service, and community spirit. Jerry's foundational work, Bart's innovative alumni initiatives, and the combined leadership and fundraising efforts of Bart and Julie have created a lasting legacy that continues to benefit and inspire Howard County 4-H.

Bart's contributions began in 2007 when he started developing the Howard County alumni committee. His efforts led to the establishment of an energetic alumni network, fostering connections, and preserving 4-H’s history. By 2010, Bart was actively serving on the committee, enhancing its structure and effectiveness. His vision has ensured that the alumni's experience and wisdom continue to benefit the organization, creating a strong sense of continuity and support.

Bart and Julie worked hard as the Howard Center Stars club leaders for many years, providing invaluable guidance to the younger generation. They were also involved in fundraising with the alumni group, particularly by making steak sandwiches at the county fair to raise money for scholarships, showcasing their hands-on approach and dedication to supporting 4-H’s future leaders. Their efforts have significantly contributed to the sustainability and growth of the Howard County scholarship programs. The Wilson's remarkable achievements, unwavering commitment, and profound impact make them truly deserving of this highest honor.
