The Rogers Family’s impact on the Grundy County 4-H Program is immeasurable. Their leadership, citizenship, and servitude exemplify the spirit of 4-H. Generosity is a hallmark of their family.

A dedicated 4-H alumni of the Grant Guys and Gals Club and County Council, Liz continues to give back by leading the Lincoln Jr Farmers 4-H Club, contributing to the Youth Committee, and serving as the assistant rabbit superintendent. Liz was dedicated to various project areas, and her achievements include numerous 4-H awards over the years. In her professional life, Liz has received a Guardian Angel and the prestigious Daisy Award, an international honor, and was selected as one of Iowa’s top 100 nurses. Liz’s commitment to youth and educational experiences shines through her work.

Although not a 4-H member, Bill supports his wife, children, and the 4-H program at club, county, and state levels. He actively assists his children with their projects and quietly contributes time and resources during various county events. Bill serves as the Dike-New Hartford Trap Shooting coach and has assisted with the archery program in his community. He is always willing to share ideas and help when the need arises.

Their children, Bell, Will, and Colt, also share a volunteer spirit. They readily step in whenever needed, actively participating in the Lincoln Jr Farmers 4-H club, taking on leadership roles, and serving on the County 4-H Council.

Grundy County proudly considers them family and is grateful for their contributions to 4-H’s growth in the community.
