Chuck Staudt is a longtime supporter of 4-H, the youth of Floyd County, and the Floyd County Fair.
He served as a swine superintendent for over 20 years before retiring from his services at the end of the 2023 Floyd County Fair. He ran a very organized show and always made himself available to anyone who needed help or had questions or suggestions. He had a way of helping the kids to relax before entering the show ring, ensuring they had everything needed to do their best. He was second to none at creating a fun environment for the exhibitors and volunteers.
Chuck was a big supporter of his three kids and their 4-H projects. He even opened his barn to other exhibitors who needed a place to raise their livestock projects. Throughout his kids’ involvement in the West Saint Charles Feeders 4-H Club, Chuck was an outstanding parent volunteer, offering help with projects and donating the use of his equipment, shed space, and time for the clubs; the can and bottle redemption drive being one of many activities he volunteered with.
Chuck is a supporter, volunteer and donor for all things involving the county fair and has worked hard to help with its success. He has many of his own fond memories from the fair growing up, and it’s very important to him that the youth of Floyd County can have the same opportunity to create their own memories to cherish.
