Marla Conley has made a notable impact in the Cherokee County 4-H program and continues today to make a positive effect within the 4-H program and the Cherokee County Fair.

Since the beginning of Marla's 4-H career, she has always lived by the 4-H tenets of Head, Heart, Hands, and Health, while serving her community still today. Marla was a Cherokee Comets, Cavaliers, and Boys 4-H Club member. In addition, she was a member of the 4-H County Council and Northwest Iowa Area 4-H Council.

Marla has won many project awards along with awards in Leadership, Citizenship, Agriculture, and the exceptional honor of winning the I Dare You Award. She has won Champion Senior Showmanship with her lambs, horses, and beef projects.

Marla has been the 4-H swine superintendent for the Cherokee County Fair for many years and has helped with building improvements and the installation of the swine pens. Marla is also a very intricate part of the educational aspect of the Kids and Pigs program at the county fair. She rarely misses a 4-H or fair activity.

Marla Conley comes from generations of 4-H believers. She is a true believer of 4-H still using her Head, Heart, Hands, and Health to serve her community. Marla epitomizes the spirit of dedication, community service, and commitment that the 4-H Hall of Fame represents.
