Conni AndersonConni and her husband, Jeff, live on a farm near Moorhead, Iowa.  They have been married 40 years and were blessed with three children Sandy, Andrea, and Kelly, all grown up now, who was active in 4-H throughout their school years.

Connie was a 4-Her member of the Moorhead Merry Maidens when growing up in Monona County for nine years. She took exhibits in food and nutrition, sewing, and did presentations at the county fair with some going to the state fair. 

Conni started volunteering in 4-H as a leader of the Moorhead Merry Maidens in 1988. After retiring as a leader in 2009, she became a superintendent helping with communications in the past and taking over as head superintendent for communications in the current years. She also served on the Monona County 4-H Endowment Committee from 2010-2013. 

In 1993 she received 4-H Alumni Award and 4-H Leader of the Year Award in 1998. In 2018 she was recognized for 30 years of service to the Monona County 4-H Program. Conni is a board member and volunteer with Food for You, on the Historical Museum Board and has had a musical group of young people called the “Glory Team” for 18 years. Besides being a piano teacher, Conni is an accompanist at West Harrison School and organist and Sunday school teacher in her church.
