IKyle & Mary Rohlkda County takes great pride in nominating Kyle and Mary Rohlk into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame. Kyle and Mary have supported the county 4-H program in many ways.

Starting with Mary being an active 4-H leader for numerous years, starting when her children were old enough to join 4-H.  She shared her knowledge of 4-H with many as she was an active 4-H member in Sac county growing up.  4-H then became the way of life for this family as they had many projects including swine, sheep, rabbits and many exhibit hall projects, which extended to showing livestock and projects at the Iowa State Fair.

Mary also has served on the 4-H committee and served as the rabbit superintendent for many years.  She has grown the rabbit project over the years and has held several rabbit workshops to help 4-Hers learn more about their project. She also helps out with the Clover Kids program at the school.

Kyle has been an active parent in 4-H helping in the swine barns on show day and pitching in where needed.  He has served numerous years on the extension council and has been the liaison to the fair board for many years.  Kyle and Mary are also active 4-H grandparents who help with projects and support their grandchildren in 4-H and Clover Kids.

Kyle and Mary have passed on the love of 4-H to their three children Brenda, Brent and Barbara.  Brenda and Brent currently are on the fair board where Brent serves as the vice-president and their 7 grandchildren Dodge, Kole, Jaxson, Addyson, Kynleigh, Theo, and Norah all take part in the Ida county 4-H program and the fair.
