The Buena Vista County 4-H Hall of Fame Honoree is Pat Murphy. This award recognizes Pat Murphy’s long-term dedication to the youth of Buena Vista County 4-H. 
For the past 20 years, he has worked with youth in the beef project. He has taught young people how to effectively work with cattle, he has provided numerous opportunities to show livestock, and he continues to support youth in their other endeavors. It can be difficult to expose new youth to the beef project because of the investment and infrastructure needed. Pat has opened up this area of learning for many youths who otherwise would not have had the opportunity!
We are excited to honor Pat for his enduring commitment to 4-H with the 4-H 2020 Hall of Fame Nomination!
