Butler County is pleased to select Nolan and Kim Junker of New Hartford as their 2019 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame inductees. Nolan and Kim Junker

Nolan was a 9-year member of the Albion Go-Getters 4-H club and was active at the county fair during those years.  In 2003, immediately after graduating from 4-H, Nolan began as a 4-H club leader for the Albion Go-Getters.  In 2011, he was instrumental in starting the Butler County Young Guns 4-H Shooting Sports club.  Throughout his 17 years of volunteering with Butler County 4-H, Nolan has been a very supportive and proactive volunteer.  He always tries to give 4-H’ers the best possible experiences!

Kim has been a 4-H volunteer for more than 12 years!  She is club leader for the Albion Dandy Dozen 4-H club.  Most recently, she has helped start the Butler County Culinary Kids, a 4-H cooking club for any 4th-12th grade youth in Butler County.

Nolan and Kim have 2 children; Wyatt and Briley. They are very active in the static exhibit area as well as livestock.  Nolan and Kim encourage their kids to explore what 4-H has to offer and support many livestock projects including beef, sheep, swine, and rabbits.

Butler County 4-H thanks Nolan and Kim for their many years of service to the youth of Butler County.  They have been dedicated 4-H club leaders and are never afraid to start new and great opportunities for Butler County 4-H’ers.
