This year Virginia Carlson has been nominated to the 2019 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame from Buena Vista County. She has contributed to the 4-H program in many roles!
Virginia began working for the Buena Vista County Extension Office in 1997 as the Office Assistant. At that time, she began crafting 4-H Memory Books with newspaper clippings and 4-H photos and has continued ever since.
Virginia’s influences have been many: the historical record of 4-H from year to year, the organizational support behind the future of the program and her hallmark laugh that makes us all want to be part of 4-H to be near her kindness.
We are excited to honor Virginia Carlson for her longtime commitment to 4-H with the 2019 Iowa
4-H Hall of Fame recognition.
