For decades, Neal Koole has been an essential part of the Sioux County Youth Fair. He has spent countless hours making sure the fairgrounds is ready to go for our youth. Whether that is getting the sound equipment running flawlessly, maintaining the buildings or encouraging 4-H’ers from the side of the show ring, Neal is regularly the first and last face you will see on the fairgrounds. Neal Koole

Beginning in 1973 as a 4-H’er, Neal’s passion for 4-H did not stop after graduation. Neal’s 30 years of volunteering has not gone unnoticed by the families of Sioux county. The areas of    4-H he has given his time and effort include serving as a club leader, beef superintendent, helping run livestock workshops, serving on the Sioux County Fair Board and most importantly being a mentor to our 4-H’ers.

The 4-H program depends on dedicated adults, like Neal, who are willing to give of their time to the youth of our county. Neal believes in the positive impact of 4-H because it helps youth develop work ethics.

Neal has been involved with 4-H for over 45 years!!  Sioux County wants to recognize Neal’s efforts and show our appreciation with induction to the 2018 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame.
