Lisa Emerson has a passion for cooking and a passion for volunteering.
Lisa helped all three of her kids through their 4-H careers.
Later, Lisa transferred her passion for cooking and volunteering to helping our 4-H program in Mitchell County. She began volunteering in the 4-H program in 2005, serving on the 4-H and Youth Committee in Mitchell County. After her tenure on the 4-H and Youth committee, Lisa continued to judge record books and conduct scholarship interviews. Lisa taught baking workshops for several years, then volunteered to help during judging day at the fair.
Most recently, Lisa found a way to improve the judging process for our Food Challenge Class in the 4-H building and she is now one of two judges for that class.
Lisa always has the 4-H’ers best interest in mind and is willing to help whenever called upon. She has touched many lives through 4-H during her years of volunteer service in Mitchell County.
