Ann Mente has spent many hours involved in the 4-H program. Ann and her husband Marty have placed an active emphasis on rural living with 4-H playing a large role in their daily life.
As a young girl growing up Ann was actively involved in the 4-H program. She was involved in both the livestock and static areas. Her involvement in 4-H continued as her five children were actively involved in the county 4-H program. Ann has helped with weigh-ins for market beef, goats and sheep. She also serves as a fair superintendent for the dairy, meat goat and sheep show, as well as the bottle bucket show.
Ann served as a member of the Cedar County Youth Committee for several years and is a co-leader of the Center Ring Leaders 4-H club and is in her eighth year of encouraging youth to be all they can be through their 4-H experience.
Ann provides a positive influence to the youth in her club and community. She willingly gives numerous hours to the program on the local and county level. Ann is always available to offer words of encouragement and praise for a job well done to both youth and adults.
Congratulations Ann Mente – Cedar County is proud to have you represent us.
