Reliable and dedicated is what comes to mind when you hear Kaye Manson’s name.
She was a 4-H leader for the Town & Kountry 4-H Club for 11 years and served on the Buchanan County Dairy Promotion Board for many years. For the last 10 plus years she has spent countless hours ordering, organizing help, and setting up for the daily breakfast that is served during fair week. 4-H’ers and their families know that after getting up before dawn to prepare their animals for the show ring, they can get a warm breakfast! She also serves and organizes the annual breakfast to benefit the Buchanan County Animal Shelter.
Kaye has been making pie for the county pie auction for 35 years with the proceeds going towards the 4-H program.
Kaye has the support of her husband Virgil, son Jeff & Robin, daughter Amanda & Aaron, and grandchildren. She enjoys being part of the Buchanan County Fair family. Her passion for the kids and their families is very evident.
For Kaye saying no to anyone for anything that needs to be done is not an option. Kaye’s hard work and positive attitude are things we are very proud of and makes her an asset in Buchanan County.
