Byron and Lori MulderByron and Lori Mulder were both active in Grundy County 4-H while growing up, and have continued to remain active with the organization as their 3 children have been involved.

Lori was a member of the Grant Happy Helpers and non-livestock exhibits occupied most of her years as a 4-Her.

Byron showed cattle and also had many non-livestock exhibits. He participated in the Grundy County Fair and still remembers his leaders’ names, Arlan Anderson and Calvin Stout.

Lori is one of the current leaders of the Lincoln Junior Farmers 4-H club and serves as a superintendent of the working exhibits at the Grundy County Fair.

Byron is the assistant superintendent of the poultry show and coordinates the broiler division.

Over the past 15 years, Byron and Lori brought their 3 children, Jon, Jacob, and Josie, into 4-H. With their children’s non-livestock, poultry and swine projects, they have been more involved than ever. Both enjoy helping out the fair in any way they can, and are a true embodiment of the 4-H pledge!
