Jackie White is an exemplary 4-H leader. She started as a leader when her kids joined 4-H 26 years ago. She has invested countless hours in the Kalico Kids 4-H club and has continued contributing beyond their years in 4-H. She has served on the youth committee and extension council. To this day she plays an active role for 4-H in Davis County and counts many 4-H youth, past members, and other volunteer leaders as friends. 4-H can only be great with the help of great leaders to assist the youth.
Jackie has always encouraged her 4-Hers to do workshops, presentations, or set goals higher than the previous year. Over 26 years as a leader, she has volunteered to help with a myriad of tasks – assisting with cattle weigh-ins, popcorn stands, fishing events, dog training, quilting sessions, and even being a fair judge. Many past, current, and future 4-Hers appreciate her contribution to a better club, community, country and world. Many Davis County youth have learned life skills in 4-H with Jackie.
