Linda Wheeler joined the Platte Peppy Pals, all girls 4-H club, in 1977 at the age of nine, in Taylor County.
During her 10 years in 4-H she enjoyed taking exhibits to the fair to be judged. Many of her exhibits included clothing, photography, woodworking, ceramics and pottery.
As an active 4-H member she had the experience of holding each officer position in her club. Linda was also a 4-H camp counselor in Madrid, and attended Citizenship-Washington DC focus.
Following in her grandma and parent's footsteps, Linda decided to accept an invitation to become 4-H leader of the Washington Winners 4-H club in Gravity. She was fortunate to have all 4 of her kids in her club and has been a big influence to many young 4-Hers.
