Past recipients of this award have volunteered for 4-H for 20, 30 and even 40 years. Mark Pottebaum may be a more recent volunteer with a mere decade as an official volunteer, but his voice, influence and passion for 4-H have all made an impact.
Mark shares his passion for 4-H with his family, his 4-H club, his co-workers, his committee and council members, his school, his community…actually, anyone who will stop long enough to listen.
Mark believes in the positive impact of 4-H and he wants parents and decision-makers to know and understand the difference between 4-H and all the other things that keep kids busy. 4-H is making a difference in the lives of youth and Mark is a champion for 4-H.
Sioux County wants to recognize his efforts and show our appreciation by presenting him with the 2015 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame recognition.
