Cheri HardisonCheri Hardison and husband, Bob, manage and live on an acreage near Onawa, Iowa.  They have been married 40 years in August of 2015.  They are blessed with 3 children, Colton, Carla, and Kelsey, that were all active in 4-H. 

Cheri was a 4-H member of the Jordan Sunshine 4-H Club in Soldier.  She joined as an associate member and continued in 4-H for 9 years.  While in 4-H, projects she participated in were clothing, food and nutrition, home improvement, communications and beef. 

While going to college at ISU, she was a 4-H summer aide in Monona County for 2 summers which influenced her in choosing her college and career choices.  She received her degree in textiles and clothing merchandizing. 

Cheri has worked for ISU Extension since 1976 in various roles as County 4-H and Youth Leader, Home Economist, County Extension Director and currently the county Program Educator.  During this time she was also a volunteer leader for the Bobcats 4-H club for 15 years.  She has had leadership roles and participated with 4-H County Council, 4-H and Youth Committee and 4-H Fund Board. Cheri Hardison receiving award

Cheri values her meaningful life-long relationships and experiences through 4-H with co-workers and volunteers.
