When talking about volunteers and the amount of time given to the youth program in Cedar County, you automatically think of Teri Baird.  Teri is a third generation 4-H volunteer and is very actively involved in the Cedar County 4-H Youth program.  She is currently in her 17th year as a 4-H leader. She served on the Cedar County Youth Committee for 18 years, and is an advisor for the Cedar County Youth Council.

4-H is not new to Teri as she was a 4-H member and both of her children were actively involved in 4-H.  Teri provides a positive influence to the youth in her club and community.  She willingly gives numerous hours to the program on the local, county and area level.  Her encouraging words to youth can be heard while they are preparing their exhibits or presentations as they get ready for the county fair.

Teri is a great example of an adult mentor who provides positive feedback to all youth and helps them move forward in a positive direction.  Congratulations to Teri Baird.
