Harold and Elaine Chapman have been a lifelong farm family in Crawford County. They have 4 sons and 3 grandchildren. They continue to operate a dairy farm operation.
Neither Harold nor Elaine had been in 4-H themselves. Harold was in FFA.
Harold and Elaine served as leaders of the Good Handy Helpers 4-H club for over 30 years. Both served on the Crawford County Extension Council. Elaine served many years on the 4-H and Youth Committee. Elaine writes comments for non-livestock exhibit judging and helps serve lunch for 7th grade Ag-Days.
Their 4 boys were active in 4-H. They showed dairy, beef and sheep and many exhibits from non-livestock projects.
This year their granddaughter joined 4-H and Elaine has been asked to help with sewing and horticulture workshops.
