Enid Phillips, a farm wife for 62 years, became a leader of the Keswick Klover Leaves 4-H Club in 1964. Her daughter volunteered her for this position. She was one of three leaders. At that time the 4-H Club had a home improvement, clothing, and food and nutrition leaders. She became the food and nutrition leader.

Over the next 35 years, she helped shape the lives of hundreds of 4-H’ers. While Enid was a leader, she saw the next three generations of her own family grow through 4-H. She also saw many changes in the 4-H program. After the first few years she became the only leader of the club until 1986 when her daughter began to help with the club.

Even after retiring as a leader, Enid continued to go and help at the county Expo. She would help where needed during the judging of exhibits. After all these years as a leader and all the project areas she helped with, her true passion is still food and nutrition.

Enid and her husband, Don, still live on their farm. They have a daughter, four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great grandson.
