Layne AndersonLayne Anderson was an active 4-H member in Nebraska as a youth, participating in the livestock judging team and beef area.  He especially enjoyed showing his cattle at Ak-Sar-Ben in Omaha.

As an adult in Emmet County, he was the livestock judging team leader for several years. Layne has been generous to have various 4-H members who live in town keep their livestock at his home and helps kids throughout the county learn ways to improve their livestock projects.

Layne served as an Emmet County Extension Council member.  He has also been a very important part of the Emmet County 4-H and FFA Premium Auction Committee and has organized and implemented the premium auction at the fair for many years.

Throughout the years Layne enjoyed helping his sons, nieces, and now grandchildren with their livestock projects for the fair.  Layne is always thinking of new ways to make the Emmet County Fair and the Emmet County 4-H program better for all youth involved.  Thanks for all you do for 4-H in Emmet County Layne, and congratulations!
