Bob served on the Monona County Extension Council for 17 years. He was elected chairman in 1998 and still serves in that position today. He rarely misses a council meeting and is a regular attendee of the Regional Council meetings. He has also made several trips to Des Moines to advocate for 4-H and Extension on Iowa State Legislative Day. Bob and Fran have been strong 4-H supporters over the years assisting their two daughters in 4-H.
