Steve and Jolene Norby have been long time supporters of the Mitchell County 4-H program.
Jolene Norby was the 4-H leader of the Mitchell County Outlaws, a community 4-H club with an emphasis on horses. She has been an instructor for the Girl Talk program for over 10 years and volunteered her expertise in first aid and CPR knowledge at our Babysitting Clinics to ensure the youth know what to do in case of emergencies when they are babysitting. Jolene served on the Mitchell County 4-H Foundation board for a number of years.
Steve Norby is the 4-H horse superintendent for the Mitchell County program. His knowledge of horses and his commitment to the youth in our community has helped the 4-H horse program expand. Steve has also served on the 4-H & Youth Committee and volunteered for many 4-H activities and events.
They are both huge advocates for the youth in our community and have been a great asset to the Mitchell Co. 4-H program.
