Ida County is proud to honor Roger and Karen Bumann as they are inducted into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame. They served the Ida County 4-H program for numerous years.
Karen was a 4-H leader for the Grant 4-H’ers from 1982 – 1997. She served on the Ida County 4-H Committee and was a record book evaluator. Karen assisted with exhibits in the Exhibit Hall, Livestock Shows and Share-The-Fun presentations during the Ida County Fair.
Roger served on the Ida County 4-H Council and on the Pen-Of-Five Committee. As the current President of the Ida County Pork Producers, he volunteers much time grilling for the 4-H Appreciation Supper, for Pork Exhibitors, during the fair, and for the 4-H Foundation Auctions.
