2011 Hamilton CountyHamilton County 4-H Youth Committee has chosen to honor Duane & Frances Enger, who have dedicated many years to the Hamilton County 4-H program and the Hamilton County Fair.

Frances started working with Hamilton County 4-H’ers in 1990’s while serving on the Hamilton County Extension Council. She volunteered numerous hours to the 4-H program and many of the  special activities.  She is currently serving as a Hamilton County 4-H Foundation Board member and is the past treasurer for the board. Frances coordinates the annual 4-H Quilt Raffle, serves on interview teams and helps to ensure the Hamilton County 4-H program remains strong and intact.  She has really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know all the talented and gifted young people in the Hamilton County program.

Her husband Duane started his involvement while attending sessions with Frances.  He has been easily impressed with the quality of youth in the Hamilton County program and is always ready to add a helpful hand and encouragement when needed.  For many years Duane served as the announcer at the annual Fair Livestock Auction.
