Linda (Witt) Wiese, from rural Charlotte has been a 4-H leader in Clinton County for 32 years. Growing up, Linda was an 8 year 4-H member of the local Charlotte club. Linda married a fellow 4-H member, Dean Wiese and has been an active leader since. Her two grown daughters, Rebecca and Emily were also 9 year 4-H members. While her daughters were members of the Charlotte girls club, she helped with projects and local competitions. The girls club is no longer active, but she continues to work with the now, co-ed club.
Always active at the county level, Linda is completing her 5th year on the Youth Committee and has always been an active committee member for the Bucket Bottle class at the fair, helping to organize both the interview portion and actual ring competitions.
Linda was raised on a farm in rural Charlotte and continues to display interest in the youth of that area. Her interests include dairy and beef cattle projects, the implementation of conservation and environmental issues, clothing construction and bucket bottle competition orientations. She comes from a long generation of 4-H family members.
She continues to be energetic and sincere about continuing to connect with the youth of Clinton County. As a Hall of Fame Inductee, Linda deserves recognition for her time and efforts to promote 4-H. Her work, behind the scenes, especially at the county level is instrumental in making many programs a success.
