Marilyn Witte has been involved in many aspects of 4-H throughout her 25 years. She began as a parent of a 4-Her helping her son and others with many projects. The projects varied from photography, woodworking, swine, and beef. She also worked as a clerk with the small building projects. As the years went by, she began to work more with fair entries and getting shows prepared for judging. In the last few years, she has also managed the 4-H livestock office. This is where she could be found from sunrise to sunset during the fair. She would make sure the 4-H shows ran smoothly. After the shows, she compiled the results and made sure the premiums were paid to the kids. Last year, she had the opportunity to help her grandkids with their Clover Kids fair exhibits. This enabled her to assist with chickens for the first time at the fair.
