4-H has been a huge part of Ron and Sandy Kropf’s lives for many years. Both were active 4-H’ers themselves as youth, participating in many trips and leadership opportunities. As adults they made a significant impact on the lives of many Emmet County 4-H’ers. They are leaders of the High Lakers 4-H club, have served on many county 4-H committees, and have chaperoned several 4-H trips and activities. Ron and Sandy have led and helped with numerous county-wide 4-H workshops as well. They understand the importance of the many skills, including leadership, citizenship, and communication, that youth can gain from their 4-H experiences and are great at encouraging members to try new things that will help them succeed in life.
