Gladys Aitchison, leader of the Cascade Clever Clovers of Cascade, Iowa has contributed over 41 years of her time and talents to the 4-H program. She has served on Fair Committees, Extension Youth Committee, has done record book judging and has been a county, state, and national chaperone. Waving an “imaginary wand” over her members she transformed them to strive for success. Some members went on to become leaders themselves. Her influence through her club was instrumental to the Cascade community in promoting safety issues and participating in Safety Days at the County and State Fairs.
Her gift of magic includes teaching others to sew, bake and speak in front of others and to this day she still teaches old members new things.
