2009 Clayton County - Greg & Deb Schultes4-H is a family affair with the Schulte family. Greg joined his father’s 4-H club, the Woodcenter Eagles at the age of 9. He later was elected to the Clayton County 4-H Council. Greg served as a volunteer leader for over 30 years as a 4-H leader or member of the Youth Committee.  He also has served on the Clayton County Extension Council.
Deb was never involved with 4-H as a youth but got involved thru Greg's involvement after they married. She is a former Leader of the Woodcenter Eagles and former member of the Youth Committee.
Greg and Deb have 4 children, Cameron, Carmen, Craig, and Caren.  All were 4-H members and all served on the Clayton County 4-H Council.  The whole family still assists in some way at either the Clayton or Delaware County Fair. Cameron, Carmen, and Craig's spouses were also involved in 4-H as was Caren's fiancee.
Greg and Deb have 3 grandchildren and are patiently awaiting the time they can join 4-H.
Greg is currently a member of the Youth Committee, Clayton County 4-H Foundation Committee, and Knights of Columbus.
Deb is currently a member of the Clayton County 4-H Foundation Committee and an EMT with the Edgewood Ambulance and Elkport-Garber First Responders.
Both are members of St. Mary's, Guttenberg and the Elkport-Garber Community Club.  They continue to help the Woodcenter Eagles at the Rodeo Lunch stand as they have for 20 years and also help them set up for the fair.  Deb, with Greg's assistance, has been in charge of setting up and taking down the State Fair booth for the past 4 years.
Greg farms and does construction work. Deb is an agent/CSR for Community Insurance in Edgewood and Guttenberg and works part time for the Edgewood Livestock Commission.
