Lorna Brown was active as a 4-H leader and 4-H committee member. She received the Franklin County 4-H alumni award for her dedication to helping members.
Lorna judged 4-H achievement shows for many years, and then continued to help members with projects when clubs no longer held those shows. She had an active 4-H family. Her husband Lowell was a 4-H club leader, and her 3 children were active members. Her son Alan has been a project leader for many years. Fair has always been an important part of her family’s life. Lorna served as the superintendent of all the open class non-livestock exhibits at the Franklin County Fair, from entry to release.
