Mildred (Millie) Heithoff and Freda Tigges have served 40 years as 4-H leaders for the Dedham Go-Getters 4-H club. They are strong supporters of both the county and state 4-H programs. They have been very active in member recruitment as well as strong supporters of the 4-Hers community and county involvement.
Millie and Freda have strived to teach member parliamentary procedures, group leadership, and active participation as a member. They have encouraged members to participate in all project areas and show such caring concern for individual members as well as the whole group.
Millie and Freda emphasize that each person should be the best they can be. When they decide that it is time for them to hang up their 4-H hats, we will have a hard time finding someone to fill their shoes.
