Ron and Judy Leistikow are big 4-H supporters in Bremer County. Their six children were all 4-H members and several are now 4-H volunteers. Four grandchildren are involved in 4-H at this time. Ron and Judy are also very involved in their school, community and church.
Ron was a club member, club leader, Youth Committee member, and is currently a member of the Bremer County Fair Board (over 20 years) coordinating activities and working at the fair. Ron and his siblings sponsor an award at the 4-H Banquet each year in honor of their mother who was also a 4-H leader and supporter.
Judy has helped her children and grandchildren with countless 4-H projects and exhibits, record books, and communications. She loves gardening, cooking, canning, and working in her flower beds. She was the Bremer County Fair Queen coordinator for 10 years and is now the Fine Arts co-superintendant at the Bremer County Fair.
Ron and Judy have given countless hours to both the youth of Bremer County through 4-H and the Bremer County Fair.
