Joyce Patterson has served as the Boone County 4-H Youth Coordinator for 21 years and a volunteer club leader for 27 years. In her county staff position, Joyce has a goal of informing 4-H members, families, and the general public about the many educational and fun opportunities in the 4-H program. She supports over 150 volunteers who serve as club leaders, leaders of shooting sports, aerospace, horse, babysitting, and quilting groups, and fair superintendents. Joyce has been influential in promoting resources for yearly “Crazes” in Boone County and securing awards and scholarships to recognize 4-H members.
