As a young girl growing up, Marie can remember several things she was taught while in 4-H. Marie started as a 4-H Club Leader in the sixties in Jackson Township in Washington County, which she continued for several years. She later became the photography project leader as the project became more popular through the years. Several 4-H’ers have gotten their start taking photos through this project work. She is very dedicated to making sure that the photography project has gotten its fair share of space at the County Fair. Several of the kids Marie had now have their own children in 4-H. Marie is a great example of 4-H and family. She still loves to attend the fair at the age of 93.
