Jim Crock was a 4-H member as a youth and has been involved in 4-H his whole life. His family has placed an emphasis on rural living with 4-H being a major part. His enthusiasm for the 4-H program carried over into his adult life. He was a leader of the Pork Center Club for 35 years. He was always a positive influence on the youth in his club and community. Jim was willing to give many hours to the program both on a local level and the county level. Jim always offered encouraging words to the youth while they were preparing their exhibits and during the county fair.
The Crock legacy has carried down another generation as his son Lee is now involved with the Pork Center Club as a leader and grandchildren will soon be old enough to join 4-H.
