For many years Tim Naig of Cylinder, IA has made a positive impact in the lives of many 4-Hers in Palo Alto County and throughout the state. He was a 9-year 4-H member as a youth and has been involved with 4-H ever since.
Tim has judged numerous sheep shows in the state for the past 25 years and is scheduled to judge the Minnesota State Fair Sheep Show this summer. He was also a sheep superintendent for the Palo Alto County Fair for a number of years and has been the assistant sheep show superintendent for the Iowa State Fair for the past 14 years. T
Tim was a 4-H leader for the Independence Boosters for 17 years, a Youth Committee member for 9 years, a Fair Board member for 9 years, and is currently serving his second year on the Palo Alto County Extension Council. Tim also served as a 4-H Program Assistant for the county for 8 years in the 1970s and early 1980s. In 1991 Tim was awarded the 4-H Alumni Award at the county awards banquet for all his contributions to 4-H in the county.
Palo Alto County is proud and fortunate to have Tim as a part of their 4-H program and feel he is very deserving to be inducted into the 4-H Hall of Fame.
