Jim and Janice Crow have been a part of Linn County 4-H for a combined total of over 50 years of service. Both have been club leaders – Jim with the Squaw Creek Warriors and Janice with Marion’s Best. Both have been active on many 4- H committees and are always a part of the Linn County Fair – in the block building answering questions, assisting a youth in the barns or monitoring the paperwork. Jim has served on the 4-H Youth programs committee and assisted with record books. Janice has also been a part of working with record books in addition to garden committee, home economics and presentations.
They have also been very supportive of the Linn County Beef Project providing encouragement, organization and service to beef project youth, volunteers and at fair. Their organizational skills and 4-H knowledge are invaluable to Linn County 4-H and help to provide guidance and a foundation for the Linn County program. They truly embrace the 4-H pledge of service to club, community, country and world and Linn County 4-H is better because of their commitment and dedication.
