Through their business, Eldon C. Stutsman, Inc, and through their family and community leadership, Ron and Virginia Stutsman are “extraordinary” supporters of the Johnson County and Iowa 4-H program.
Ron has served as president of the Iowa 4-H Foundation, vice president of the Hills Bank Board of Directors, member of the Iowa City Chamber of Commerce Board, President of the Johnson County Agricultural Association, Chair of the Johnson County Extension Council, and President of the Iowa Fertilizer and Chemical Association.
Virginia was a member of the Johnson County 4-H Youth Development Committee, chair of the 4-H garden and communication departments at the Johnson Co. 4-H Fair, an Iowa Master Gardener, a board member of the State Federated Garden Club, Kalona Historical Society, Sharon Center United Methodist Church and the State Questers.
As 4-H parents and grandparents, Ron and Virginia believe in 4-H youth development and encourage and inspire others to participate in 4-H. Working with Hills Bank, through Stutsman Inc. and other community groups and organizations, Ron and Virginia have contributed thousands of volunteer hours, millions of dollars, and incredible support and leadership to the Johnson County and Iowa 4-H program.
