Joe and Pat RashJoe and Pat Rash have volunteered many hours in support of the 4-H program.  Each one has served their community as a leader; Joe for 19 years and Pat for 21 years.  They have enjoyed watching their children and now grandchildren enter exhibits, show livestock at the county and state fairs, and grow into adults.

Pat was a 4-H member as a young girl in Hardin County.  She was a leader in Marshall County for 2-3 years and later became a club leader in Hardin County for the Union Peggy Pals for 21 years.  Pat also served on the Extension Council.

Joe was a leader of the Union Whitten Hustlers for 19 years and served on the county fair board.

Both have actively tried to support the 4-H program and county fairgrounds.  They donated money to the fairgrounds in memory of their son, Ben Rash.   Pat and Joe are members of the 4-H 400 donor list and have contributed to the State Fair preservation efforts as well.  Together they have spent many hours attending meetings, fundraisers, workshops, fairs, weigh-ins, achievement shows, 4-H camps, club project tours, skating parties, and many more 4-H events.  They have enjoyed the friendships that they’ve made through their 4-H and fair activities.
