Vicki Kerns has been a life long supporter of the Pocahontas County 4-H program. She grew up in a 4-H family and was a 9 year member. Vicki married into a 4-H family and together with her husband, Roger, raised a family of 3 children who learned many leadership skills through 4-H.
Vicki was a 4-H leader of the Powhatan Pioneers for 15 years, from 1981-1996. She then volunteered as the treasurer of the Pocahontas County Fair Board in 1997 and served as chair of the Open Pantry class at the Pocahontas County Fair until 2005. Vicki has also volunteered to judge achievement shows and other events. Pocahontas County 4-H is richer because of Vicki Kerns.
