Wendall Lown4-H has been an important part of Wendall Lown’s life for 70 years.  He started his 4-H career as a member in 1936 and continued work in his favorite project area of swine as a county project leader and county fair superintendent.  He has also served as a county fairboard member for the past 66 years.  Wendall has enjoyed working with 4-H members and their families through the years and watching the youth develop and learn to make good choices through 4-H.

·    became a 4-H member in 1936 – 4-H projects:  poultry, swine, crops
·    just completing his volunteer roles as Monona County Swine Superintendent (64  years) and Monona County Fairboard member (66 years)
·    also served as County Swine Project Leader and 4-H Club Leader
·    recognized as a Monona County 4-H Alumni in 1957 and in 2005
