Gary and Judy Fuller have been involved with 4-H for over 30 years.
Gary joined 4-H in 1951 as a member of the Jackson Feeders 4-H Club. He was a member of the club for 8 years showing purebred Spotted Poland China pigs. In 1953 he captured Grand Champion Litter, 2nd Place Boar and 1st Place Gilt. He also showed at the Iowa State Fair. After Gary’s 4-H career, he became a leader of the Jackson Feeders 4-H Club. He was elected to serve on the Hardin County Fair Board in 1973 and was President of the Fair Board from 1981 to 1998. During his time on the fair board the livestock show ring and community building were built on the Hardin County Fairgrounds. Gary also served on the State Fair Board Convention Committee for 10 years.
Judy (Ward) Fuller became a member of the Jackson T N T 4-H Club in 1951 and was a member for 8 years. Judy served as the Hardin County Fair Board Secretary from 1986 to 1999. Gary and Judy raised 4 children. All of their children became 4-H members and participated at the county and state fair.
