Larry Glick has been involved in 4-H his whole life. His family has placed an emphasis on rural living with 4-H being a major part. He recently found his Mother’s 4-H record book and shared this with many residents of Cedar County. Larry is currently a leader of the Center Ring Leaders 4-H club. He is currently serving his 24th year in this position.
Larry is very active in the Cedar County Fair. He has been in charge of the livestock judging contest for many years. He serves as freight master for the beef auction. This is a big responsibility to make sure the animals all get to their correct destination, once a steer is butchered it is hard to bring it back.
Larry has served as a mentor to many youth of our county. He is always willing to help them in any possible way. Larry will probably be involved in the Cedar County 4-H program for many future years as he has four grandsons who will soon be of 4-H age and will be a part of the Cedar County 4-H program.
Cedar County is proud to have Larry Glick represent them.
